The CI830 supports logically independent dual Profibus DP buses and supports the predetermined communication rates in the standard specification.

The CI830 supports manual setting of all standard or rate adaptive DIP switches.

With 1 to 2 Profibus DP electrical ports and 1 to 2 155M optical fiber interfaces flexible choice, support redundant dual network fiber ring network topology.

It has a fiber optic distance of more than 20km and a high-speed optical interface of 155Mb/s to support the reliable transmission of burst data over long distances.

It has 6 two-color LED status indicators, fiber link and power failure relay output alarms.
